We were delighted to partner with Bowel Research UK, in sourcing a Director of Fundraising & Communications. The role needed someone with a solid background in High Value fundraising, and the ability to take the income generation and communications function in a new strategic direction. Our successful candidate, Kate Delaney, will work closely with Lindsay Easton, the fantastic new CEO, in shaping the impact of the charity.
Reflecting on the recruitment process as a whole, including the complementary candidate coaching, Kate said:
“Anton at Scenius supported me through a Director-level job application process from my initial cover letter and CV, right through to mock interview practice.
The feedback and support offered were both expertly delivered and hugely helpful.
It also gave me a good insight into the values of my new employer, who were willing to invest in this support to all candidates.
I not only enjoyed the process but feel I have a far better insight into my new role than if I had been completing the application process without this support.
I am sure it will enable me to have a faster and more meaningful impact when I take up my new position early next year.”
